The website sets no cookies. When you choose the light or dark theme, the proxtrace.theme key is saved in your browser’s local storage. It contains only a display preference, shared with the console on the same domain, and remains until deleted. The language selector uses ordinary links, without profiling or automatic redirection.
In the console
The console (console.proxtrace.com) sets only the cookies needed for authentication. They can be read by the server only (HttpOnly), are sent over HTTPS only (Secure) and are never sent from another site (SameSite=Strict).

These cookies are strictly necessary for the service you request by signing in; they do not require your consent (article 82 of the French Data Protection Act). Blocking them prevents signing in.
The console also stores a few interface preferences in your browser’s local storage: theme (proxtrace.theme), language (proxtrace.lang), sidebar state (proxtrace.sidebar) and the snooze of a Proxmox Backup Server connection reminder (proxtrace.pbs-reminder.* keys, thirty days). They never leave your browser.
Demo console
The demo console (demo.proxtrace.com) requires no sign-in and sets no session cookie. It likewise keeps its theme, language and sidebar state in the local storage of that subdomain.
Clearing this data
You can delete the site’s cookies and local storage through your browser settings. The next visit will use the default dark theme; in the console, you will need to sign in again.
